Located 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod lies the island of Nantucket, one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the U.S. Its traditional architecture, cobblestone streets, and charming history, all combined with its limited access (restricted to air and sea travel) make it a special destination at any time of the year. But mark your calendar for the 2019 Nantucket Food & Wine Festival, a truly incredible experience for all the senses. The annual Festival, now in its 23rd year, captures all the different ways that Nantucket is unique and is one of the most popular events on the island. This year’s Festival will be held May 15-19 and will offer 60 events over five days. It promises to deliver extraordinary wine tastings, delectable cuisine prepared by world-class chefs, and a plethora of other events and activities.
There are several different airline companies and high-speed ferry operators that will pop you over to Nantucket from the mainland. Ferries depart on the regular from Hyannis Ferry Terminals – plan for a smooth trip from point A to point B by engaging Dav El | BostonCoach as chauffeured transportation from your home to Hyannis and then hop on board for a quick ferry ride.

Giving Back
With the help of many volunteers, the Nantucket Food & Wine Festival and its charitable foundation have been able to donate over one million dollars to local charities since the Festival’s inception. The foundation contributes to maintaining the natural beauty and charm of the island and allows visitors to enjoy the area. Book your tickets and plan a trip for the weekend to Nantucket – sun, surf, wine…there’s not much better than that.
